The flourishing greenhouses that Israel left behind for the Palestinians were destroyed and abandoned.

So, Israel is responding to the destruction of its… greenhouses?

University of Vermont’s director of Middle East Studies, Prof. Gregory Gause, PhD., said the issue is not clear cut. Gause said he is neither pro-Palestinian nor pro-Israeli, and provided Fox 44 Local News with some insight on the situation.

“The Israelis are out to prove that there’s a price to pay for hitting Israel,” Gause said in referencing the rockets Hamas fired at Israeli cities for days before Israel retaliated. “Most Americans would probably think that if there were rockets being fired into Vermont from Canada, we’d have the right to respond to that.”

On 2 June 1948, Sir John Troutbeck wrote to the foreign secretary, Ernest Bevin, that the Americans were responsible for the creation of a gangster state headed by “an utterly unscrupulous set of leaders”.

In practical terms, the Palestinians in Gaza are all Khaled Mashaal, the Lebanese are all Nasrallah, and the Iranians are all Ahmadinejad.

Note how this Israeli tabloid is promoting the Bin Laden Doctrine: kill civilian populations to punish them for not opposing and toppling their leaders.

“This is commander. Anything that’s mobile, that moves in the zone, even if it’s a three-year-old, needs to be killed. Over.”

“Are you a legitimate target if you voted for Hamas?”

Well, The Only Democracy In The Middle East seems to believe so…
