A spokesman for the OIC’s Islamophobia Observatory in Jeddah said in a statement issued yesterday that the proposed conference was aimed at arousing anti-Muslim sentiments in Europe and that it would pose a threat to inter-communal peace and harmony in society.

Has the OIC ever made comments about “inter-communal peace and harmony” in Saudi Arabia? Iraq? Pakistan? Lebanon? Egypt?

Here’s a novel idea: why doesn’t the OIC stick to improving the situation of communities in its member countries, and leave Europe’s Muslims to find their own solutions?

But why don’t they release reports on issues that affect their own countries, such as the evisceration of ancient Christian communities in Iraq?
