A group of leading Shia Muslim scholars are threatening to report Channel to Ofcom, the industry regulator, unless the broadcaster apologises to viewers and commissions a second programme on their faith.
The scholars are unhappy at Channel 4’s documentary on the Qur’an which aired last month.
