  Let me very selfishly link you to some post-Ramadan positive P.R., as a reporter from CNN took up residence at the Islamic Center at NYU; we’re hoping this is the first of more media. Great resources for the wider community to point to as positive portrayals, insha’Allah.

  So Islamic Thinkers Society — I should know better. It was fun to debate years back. But the whole experience, at NYC’s Muslim Day Parade, bore reflection. This is what people think of when they see us; this is part of the imagery that shapes the discourse about us.
