American law is SECULAR. it enforces the Jeffersonian separation of church and state.

what is the difference between shariah and shariah law?
there isnt one.
did you know the constitution of KSA is the Quran?
in nation states where shariah is the rule of law, there is no difference between shariah and shariah law.

In America, citizens accept the U.S. Constitution because it reflects universal First Principles for which the very purpose is to PROTECT as in Life, Liberty, Religion and Property. It isn’t secular law to which they agree to adhere as an after-thought of citizenship but to the First Principles anterior to it.
