I’m not sure if it means a great deal substantively or not, but it is quite stunning to think that if Kagan is confirmed, the U.S. Supreme Court, after having a Protestant majority for more than 200 years until the 1990s, will have gone to not having a single Protestant on the court in less than 20 years.
