The Sun reports that the cellmate of the girl believed the police were stricter with her because she was a Muslim of Pakistani descent:
“She’s a British girl but a Muslim, so I think they were tougher on her because of that.
“She was trying to report the rape but soon realized the policemen were more interested in how often she has sex with her boyfriend.
“They even asked if she did just normal sex or anything else in bed.”

I do not know if the problem is Islam or simply Arabic, but these reports of the victims of rape being treated as criminals are getting ridiculous. Well at least they aren’t trying to stone this poor woman. The other frightening thing is that in 40 some odd posts tagged rape here, especially with so many having the legal system a threat to the victim and not the monster, that there are NO comments saying “Hey, This is Wrong”

Why do you think stories like this are noticed and get posted in the first place?
Aside from the core values that you seem to think are lacking here, I tagged this post with various phrases referring to ‘Dubai tourism’ and ‘Dubai vacation’ so that if anyone goes Googling info on taking a trip to Dubai, this post is going to show up in their search results and people will choose to vacation elsewhere.
Dubai ought to take an economic hit for this kind of official misconduct…
