While the edge of this story does show Americans that Muslims are not all puritanical zealots, I cannot help but feel that a few teens are exploiting their (loose? VERY loose?) association with Islam to get press as a punk rock band. (Punk rock being a movement that died more than 25 years ago).

Muslims can be creative complicated people. There IS room for a diverse and vibrant Ummah. American Muslims should be PROUD.
