Finally, the truth is posted on www.anwar-alawlaki.com. We see the face of Islam, undiluted, for the evil that it is. The term "Peaceful Islam" is an oxy-moron. True Islam is intolerant of all other beliefs; they would rather kill Christians than try to convert them. Look at the Shia and Sunni branches, and how they slaughter each other. IF they fight each other to the death with suicide bombers in Iraq...well, where does that leave AMericans, especialy Christians. Islam promotes slaughter of infidels. That is truth. Once again, this truth is revealed. Provide the Falls Church Mosque with the same respect that a Christian Church would receive in Saudi Arabia or Iran or Iraq.

Awlaki also calls for Muslims in the West to ‘migrate’

If this statement is accurate, he should lead the way immediately or be deported.

Reminds me of the leaders who call for jihad and herald the beautiful act of being a shaheed. An act they would never consider themselves nor involve their own children in.
Hypocrites.

Anwar al-Awlaki. He should update his retractions. Instead he is making very useless comments:

Aside from lionizing Hasan, Awlaki berates the mainstream Muslim organizations in the US: “The Muslim organizations in America came out in a pitiful chorus condemning Nidal’s operation.”

Awlaki also calls for Muslims in the West to ‘migrate’: “It is becoming more and more difficult to hold on to Islam in an environment that is becoming more hostile towards Muslims.”

USA is probably one of the best non-Muslim ruled countries for muslims to live in. And tolerance and appreciation has been expressed and reexpressed to post 9-11 American Muslims in a manner unparalleled in the West.

The inherent renegade modality of some segments of Islam, to be clear, eg Black Muslims here in Oakland, naturally causes friction with the government and has little to do with Islam and more to do with being and advocating lawlessness.

It is not useful to Islam or the Ummah in my opinion.

It seems to be getting lost in the coverage of Awlaki's possible relationship to Hasan is that al-Awlaki was at Dar ul Hijrah many years ago...(I'm not sure exactly when he left but it was more than 5 years ago) and that Awlaki's expressed opinions were different when he was at Dar ul Hijrah to the extent that he has explicitly retracted all that he said at the time.

I live in Norther VA and am outraged that this mosque would allow a radical figure such as Awlaki to become imam at the mosque. I drive by this mosque often and had I known this man was in there flapping his poison gums, I would have protested to no end.

I know it's too early for official confirmation of Hasan's motive for the attacks, but the pattern is there; he became an extreme Muslim via Awlaki's preaching (who targets young American Muslims) and even yelled "God is great" in Musilim before he started shooting. I'm not so blind to see that there have been countless civilian lives lost in Iraq and other parts of the Mid-east due to American forces destructive ambition, which is a tragedy only one in the situation could fully grasp, but I'm not satisfied, from where I stand, with how someone like Hasan could pull this off.

There are reports of him telling other officers how moving he thought Awlaki's beliefs were. Likewise, he recently told others how extremely dissatisfied he was that he was being deployed to Iraq. We need to figure a way to keep people like this on the radar, without overt racial profiling (Some racial profiling must be done with regards to terrorist who are by and large, Muslim). It just angers me to no end how this coward is being put on a pedistol by another coward a half-world away (Awlaki).

My thoughts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of the deceased and injured.
