AP: ‘Another attack leaves US Muslims fearing backlash.’
Many Islamic leaders said the Fort Hood tragedy that left 13 dead and 30 wounded including the alleged gunman, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, could likely post the sternest test for U.S. Muslims since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
“A lot of us work very hard for this country, to make America a better place,” said Muqtedar Khan, a progressive Muslim scholar who has just given Congressional testimony on U.S. foreign policy in Afghanistan before Thursday’s attack. “And this one nut like Maj. Hasan comes along and in one crazy episode of a few seconds he undermines these years and years of hard work we are doing to make American Muslims part of the mainstream in the community.”

You know the more Muslims harp on this by saying how this incident has affected perceptions of Muslims in the u.s., the more they make what they fear inevitable. They are simply connecting even more strongly in peoples’ minds that Islam had something to do with it.
“See, these Muslims say this hurts them and their religion. They’re apologizing for this man’s actions. Obviously, it must really be about their religion and not some crazed soul”
Do we ever ask these crackers to apologize for the thousands of crimes commited by crackers everyday and throughout history? In fact these crackers are so moronic, even pointing out that their ancestors committed crimes in the past makes them get emotional and they start shouting “political correctness.” No, Historical correctness, moron.
Blacks hardly ever apologize for the crimes people in their community commit, nor do latinos. If Muslims want to be truly American, then saying “F it, I had nothing to do with it, so get out my face with that ish” is the first step into accepting Western modernity.
