Indscribe discusses the political under-representation of India’s Shia muslims, which are numerically comparable to the Sikhs in terms of raw numbers. He also makes the good observation that Shi’a-Sunni sectarian tensions have traditionally been minor or absent entirely in India.
A minor quibble; indscribe mentions the Bohras but incorrectly groups them as Twelvers. Bohras are Ismailis like the Nizaris, and as such actually are TwentyOne-ers. But who’s counting?
