An Al Qaeda affiliated group took responsibility for the two bombings in Baghdad that killed 155 people on Sunday.
The statement dated Oct. 26 was posted by the Islamic State in Iraq group on a website often used by militants to announce responsibility for such attacks.
“Suicide bombers targeted the dens of infidelity and pillars of the rejectionist Shiite state in the land of the caliphate,” the statement said.

So I guess the 30 kids who were killed at a nearby day care center were guilty of being around those “dens of infidelity”.
Filthy cowards, and to think there are Muslims in America who will be quick to refer to them as pious “mujahideen” like Tarek Mehanna and the rest of the fanatics on IslamicAwakening.

I thought they hated the US because it invaded “Muslim lands”…

I still can’t get over the fact that 30 children lost their lives in this Goddamn savage attack. What ticks me off even more is the silence from the Muslim world. Where are they??? They were out in droves when Gaza was being bombed by the barbaric Israelis, but when it is a minority of our own committing unspeakable barbaric acts like this, they are ALL silent!
Further proof that Muslim-on-Muslim violence is acceptable unless it involves non-Muslims doing the oppression.
My God, I have not been this angry about the state of Iraq for a while. This is the “good” that the right-wing chickenhawks often talk about? Why are they so blind to the lack of progress going on? I will quote Prof. Juan Cole on what he had to say about this:
Truer words have never been spoken.
