From a cognitive anthropolgy standpoint, I simply don’t see how Dawkins strategy can work. No mapping for supernatural agents.

My first reaction to this story was “oh dear God,” and then I loled at how apropos my instinctual reaction was.
matoko_chan, i love your avatar and handle! GITS is one of my fav animes ever. Although I prefer hybrid metastories like Haruhi Suzumiya and Samurai Champloo, GITS really got under my skin.

Love the anime heads around here. We should do a Muslim meetup at Anime Boston 2010. I saw some hijabis there this year dressed up as angels of death – carrying oversized scythes, other cosplay stuff – but the head coverings were definitely hijab.
