Human rights activists “Iranbaan” reports that “Neda Agha Sultan’s father was brought on TV and her martyrdom was blamed on the ‘rioters.’”
Forced him to come out and lie about his daughter’s murder to protect the real murderer – Do the powers that be in Iran even believe in Judgment Day anymore?

They have changed their allegiance from the tribe of Ali to the tribe of Thamud.
They called him liar
and hamstrung her for the slaughter
Then their lord rumbled down upon them
for their crime and wiped them away
with no fear of what came after

Hi Motoko
Nice to see your keystrokes again.
Here is what is bothering me:
Last time Iran exploded was around the time Nixon had disgraced the Republican party and the country had reacted by electing a honest good ole boy from Plains GA. The October surprise and all of that.
Now, another optimistic Democrat in the white house, the Republican Party is again in shambles and Iran is also exploding.
Deja Vu?

Stop seeing through the American prism Buzzkill.
It isn’t about us.
The true analogy is the overthrow of the tyrant Shah in 1979. The Green Wave is using the same techniques, rooftop nighttime chanting of Allahu Akbar, the non-violent marches.
A deeply religious civil rights movement opposing an oligarchy.
al-Islam will win in the win in the end.
Consider the romans and the christians……the once mighty roman empire is dust, and the Roman Catholic Church is the largest land-holder in the world.
They not only beat the romans, they stole their name.

I embrace your abrasiveness, but when you criticize, you should strive to no be random.
I’M AMERICAN! You want me to look at it like an Iranian??? Kook!
If I was an Iraninan, it would be about me, if I am an American, it is about me. I look through the prism I was dealt.
A mutual acqaintance asked me who I wanted to win in the Iranian election. I said whoever the majority of Iranians vote for. That is about me supporting democracy.
Hmmmm. Really? Was that around the time that Carter was in office and up for re-election? And a deposed Shah came to the United States while hostages were taken in Iran? And it fundamentally changed the election and changed it back towards Reagan and the Republican party? Like some people believe Reagan asked Ayatullah Khomeini to wait until after the election to discuss hostage release? Hostages were released on Reagan’s inauguration, it wasn’t like it was even covert. It was obvious.
Or is that too much about US?
