Remember kids, only the tools of Western imperialism think the election was a sham. No real Iranian (or is that Muslim) thinks that the people voted for other than the troll known as Ahmedinejad. If it’s what the people want, then why did the so-called “Islamic” regime feel the need to pull communications, shut down electricity, storm campuses and reportedly kill up to 200 people so far? Ignore reports coming from inside Iran of mysterious “electricity outages” in cities where people were then blocked from voting! Those are probably just the bougies from North Tehran!

If this is so Islamic and that little troll is the one that the “true Iranians” want in office, then why are they exerting extreme pressure on Moussavi and have cut off his ability to communicate and are following him? What do they have to fear if the truth is really on their side? If he was so certain of the people’s votes for him, why were conservative pressure groups attacking Moussavi headquarters before the polls even closed?

Only those who don’t have to actually live in Iran would believe this is a clear mandate from the people (sorry I have to laugh just writing that). But I guess if a guy denies the Holocaust that gives him cache with some of us. People want for the Iranians (or any Muslim nation) what they don’t want for themselves — limits on free expression, limits on freedom of conscience, extreme limits on legal rights like the right to reasonable search and seizure and due process, enforced segregation, enforced hijab, enforced congregational prayer, and overall government rule that seem to, hm, lead to unfair consequences for women and girls. But it seems like with a lot of us very important Western Muzzies, all ya gotta do is slap the label “Islamic” on it and we’ll go along like good obedient baaaaaa sheep. (OK OK so I was reading some Muzzle blogs. I know I should stop doing that).
