An advocate for mass ‘denial of service’ attacks on Iranian Internet propaganda outlets is inviting you to participate:
I would never recommend such an attack on domestic servers or those intended for honest, ethical purposes. I’m also not officially recommending an attack on the state-run news websites in Iran. I am, however, informing you that users on Twitter are spreading a way to take down such websites that spread propaganda for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his illegitimate government.
How? By using a web application called Page Reboot. Page Reboot automatically reloads a website of your choice every time you’ve programmed it to. So let’s say we want to take down Fars News, which is a mouth-piece in Iran for the government. We would enter the url and set it to reload every second. It will then request the website every one second, overloading the servers and shutting out the website. You can use the service on multiple websites at once by opening multiple tabs.
Follow the link to get suggestions for the best sites to attack. Could it really be so simple?

With a blogroll, containing Instapundit, Neocon News, Powerline, Stop the ACLU, etc, I can see that the author is motivated merely by a sincere desire for human rights for the Iranian people. In any case, he advocates attacks on state run news services while simaltaneously claiming not to do so.

This guy has clearly fallen off the neo-con trainwreck (at least on this issue), since no less a A-list neo-con than Daniel Pipes said not too long ago that if he could vote in the Iranian election, he would vote for Ahmadinejad.
I think what’s happening in Iran is so big that it’s becoming a kind of reality distortion field where people are stepping out of their usual interests.
Sunni Sister had some cool commentary in that link Thabet provided downstream in response to the crowd of Muslims who are backing Ahmadinejad.

So true.

As always great points made by sunni sister (especially this: “People want for the Iranians (or any Muslim nation) what they don’t want for themselves”). But good Lord can she be irritating. Some of us stupid, misguided, “western muzzies” can tell our heads from our asses, thanks for the condescension though.
Andrew Sullivan is doing a fantastic job with this. He’s right to point out how the major news networks here, especially CNN, have completely dropped the ball.

Isn’t that illegal in the US?
Have to agree with Tec15. He looks like another stupid right-wing idiot.
