I largely ignore Mad Mel, along with Pipes etc, because most of that kind make me want to chuck, but today, I impetuously decided to plug Mel’s Spectator blog rss into my Blogbridge — slightly bonkers Neocon, I thought, should be fairly entertaining. But no. “Mad” is a euphemism. How did we end up with a formerly mainstream pundit writing this kind of frenetically insane paranoid drivel?
