Gabriele Marranci has a thoughtful piece on the case of Sarah Maple, the Muslim artist who has received death threats for her art.

I have to agree with Marranci; Maple’s art is barely second rate.

I agree with you. The way Sarah Maple proceeds is against religious institutions, it allowed Sarah Maple to reach a fast success. That is just a work of seduction. The quality of her painting is poor. She could have participated in American idol; it would have been the same. But, she has used the feminist and anti Islam aspects, and it has hidden, in a way, her poor artwork.
