Living in this area and having some familiarity with this case, this will no doubt be co-opted by the right as evidence of Muslim’s moral decadence and also to attack this school, which has been under siege since the conviction of one of its valedictorian’s several years ago. However, this appears largely to be a misunderstanding of policy and with no malicious intent on the principal’s part. Its unfortunate that Barakat decided to tag the post with “islamic radicalism,” in yet another yield to the morons.
