Saudi women aren’t allowed to drive - but horses are ok. The story of how Sumaya learned to ride is fascinating, and inspiring - especially when you see how she solved the problem of what to wear.

quite an inspiring story indeed, especially since i’ve been toying with the idea of riding lessons for a while. i’ve been conquering my fear of water sports, horses are next, iA :)

I wish we could just ditch cars and go back to horses…when I was a kid I rode competitively and I’ve always been sorry I gave it up. (Well not entirely sorry; it’s damn expensive.)

willow given your previous defense of polygyny do u also support ditching monogamy and going back to polygamy (as we should ditch cars and go back to horsies)

you found this polygynous relationship ‘fascinating’ and considered the success of this one ‘marriage’ a ‘potent argument’ for…what exactly…

    as to this article…

…i think we’ve all read stories about women orgasming from riding horsies.

cars don’t provide the same ‘pleasure.’ so i am confused as to why the saudis are ok with the former.

MM. what the heck are you talking about??

    im asking:

since women get sexually stimulated from horse riding, why are saudis ok with it, especially since women (or men) dont get similar stimulation from cars.

im pointing out a flaw in the islamic totalitarianism.
