    A bizarre suggestion: that Obama should go to Mecca. Since he’s not muslim, I repeat, since he IS NOT MUSLIM, going to Mecca is a moot point anyway. But suppose he actually were for some reason allowed to go. Wouldn’t this cement the “Obama = muslim” meme forever?

    Why do pundits persist in treating this “Islam v the West” thing like it’s some kind of epic film? Go to Mecca? Yes, that would solve everything. In a Steven Spielberg movie.

    i’d watch that movie, actually. they could build a kaaba replica in morocco like they did for The Message. Or was that Tunisia?
