honestly, i wouldn’t be surprised if they did completely miss the lingerie (says the one without the male brain). i was surprised how casual it was to sell lingerie on the street in Cairo. i saw stalls of women’s underwear more than once outside masajid. it just seemed like business as usual. made me realize how uptight american muslims are about certain things when it comes to sex.

actually, I can fully believe that they were oblivious too - the image is just funny. I wouldnt label the image “hypcrites” at all, its just one of those funny juxtapositions is all.

Anyway, didn’t the Prophet (s) say, “Three things are dear to me in this life: prayer, perfume and beautiful women.”
Maybe the store next door is an attarist.
