  Midnight poll.

  If you don’t live with your parents, how often do you talk to them? Do you call them everyday? Every other day? Every week? I talk to my father maybe once every week (if that), and with my mom maybe twice a week. I have this sneaking suspicion that I should call more often, so I’m trying to gauge what’s “normal.”

  I talk to my mother every alternate day but call rates are cheap here in india at Rs 1.50 per minute for STD (long distance)calls.

  Recently I’ve been pretty burned out and haven’t been talking to my parents more than twice a month. (Terrible, I know.) But I talk to my mother-in-law about once a week (yay Skype). Different cultural expectations…

  Yep. If I don’t call a minimum of twice a week, I get an ear full.
