Edwards didn’t do as well as I had hoped he would, but I think we have to agree to disagree on whether Cheney blew him away. The point is well-taken though - he didn’t capitalize on opportunity to really hit cheney hard. still, its hard to say what real effect those veep debates have on outcome, whereas the poll resuls quoted above are pretty good data. its striking how edwards stands out in terms of tangible percentage point gains in those swing states.
