  The Economist says India’s anti-Maoist laws have “become an international embarrassment”.

  Meanwhile, I came across this report which claims Maoists have setup their own government in some areas of Chhattisgarh state.

  And the BJP says Maoists in Nepal present a threat to India’s national security.
