Clearly US muslims played a role, but it’s clear that the political clout of any muslim bloc (should one exist) is still pretty small. I wonder if it will be more relevant in a primary like Indiana, where the race is far closer? in PA Obama closed the gap from 20 points to under ten, but Indiana is already within that margin.

The other thing is that the muslim population tends to be concentrated in urban areas, where Obama already has an advantage. so in one sense the muslim vote is superfluous.
