    I’ll start. I retract my earlier comment that we should try to keep tags somewhat restricted and we should try to keep the conversation limited to comment threads. I say, tag how you want. And, if you woud rather post a reply instead of leave a comment, do that as you see fit. Lets try to break down as many of the rigid rules as possible and see what works. Its entirely possible - and quite advantageous - if each of us has our own style.

    you might want to increase front page length a bit.

    also, i’m on a small laptop. remove some of the padding at the top so i see more screen.

    Other suggestions:
    - hyperlink colour
    - modern font

    allow more posts on the front page - since they’re so small, list the latest 100 or so.

    okay I have tweaked the font a bit to make the subheadings less heavy. Also, I have increased the number of posts on front page from 10 to 20 (after all, thabet can do a run of 10 in one night easily :)

    I also moved the Carnivals from the sidebar to below the posts. Im not sure how to tweak the header though. What I want to really do is replace the text with a logo of some sort but the header area is a bit complex (the post entry form is part of the problem). I will play with it…
